Edible Locust: Polenta with crickets
Polenta fries with crickets are a possibility that allows you to discover the flavors of this edible insect through a more elaborate recipe. Thus, it requires 500 g of polenta, 120 g of grated parmesan, 100 g of edible crickets, 50 g of butter. Finally, you need canola oil for frying and of course salt for seasoning.
For the preparation, the crickets reduced in flour are mixed with the polenta already prepared according to the instructions. 5 minutes before the cooking is finished, pour in the parmesan and salt. Then, the preparation is left to rest for an hour before cutting the polenta into sticks. Finally, we fry for 3 minutes on each side and the dish is ready.
